ACT 2 Films, LLC is a privately owned independent film company .
Located in Nashville, Tennessee, ACT 2 Films will produce “Union”, a full length feature film.
We were pleased to have found that the compelling, true-story of Eddie Sherlin and Bill Ligon had not been told, short of local lore and history in the town of Gallatin. But their impact on the town, in tumultuous time, was a story begging for a national audience of young and old alike.
Citizens and city officials in Gallatin have shown their support in providing rich details of their memories, the times, and documents of the years depicted in the movie.
And, it cannot go unmentioned, that Angelo Pizzo, writer of Oscar nominated “Hoosiers”, “Rudy” and ”The Game of Their Lives” will serve as screenwriter and director. For that, we are enthusiastic and inspired.
The company has formed a team of professionals to assist in the creative and financial aspects.
